General Meeting April 10, 2014
Benitec Biopharma Limited held a General Meeting on April 10, 2014 to enable shareholders to vote on the following resolutions. These relate to the $31.5 million of institutional investment committed to Benitec and announced on February 28, 2014:
- Ratification of the Prior Issue of Shares and Options; and
- Approval to Issue Shares and Options.
Shareholder support was overwhelmingly positive. The votes led to the following results, whereby the company will receive:
- AUD29.5 million in new funding from 10 US and international institutional investors
- AUD2 million from existing institutional and professional investors in Australia

2013 Annual General Meeting
The 2013 Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of Benitec Biopharma Limited was held at the offices of Grant Thornton Australia, The Rialto, Level 30, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne on Thursday 14 November 2013. The AGM was followed by a Shareholder Information Session including a short presentation, Q&A and networking.
